Rural Artist Support Weekend

NDAC provides local artists with an annual free symposium featuring speakers from the business and granting community. This weekend-long event provides invaluable education to artists seeking to enhance their business practices.

Featuring speakers and workshops covering topics from how to write successful grant applications to marketing your arts business on social media, and invaluable information and advice on the day-to-day operations of running a business, the weekend event serves to strengthen the knowledge base of our local artists, and empower them with the tools and skills that support their professional development.

Recognizing Artists

Area Artists are the backbone of our cultural excellence and we as a community need to provide them with more opportunities to educate themselves and to feel heard and supported.

Many artists can find the business of art a daunting undertaking, and not understanding the key concepts of business can be a massive barrier on the road to success. This weekend assists with breaking down that barrier.
