Bigby Place Arts Initiative

Fostering Community

The Bigby Place Arts Initiative is a free monthly class delivered by multidisciplinary educators and artists to provide community access to the arts.

In 2017 NDAC partnered with the Kootenay Society for Community Living and Bigby Place to provide a monthly class geared towards people with disabilities in the community. The classes proved a success and have continued each year since their inception.

Sharing Art

Fostering Community

Arts educators and artists from all different disciplines were brought in to engage the members of Bigby Place creatively and free of charge, creating barrier-free art experiences.
