Devon runs the day to day operations of The Civic Theatre, The Shoebox Theatre, and Reo’s Video. Devon has a broad skill set thanks to his experience as a barista, cook, care aide, hotel clerk, and food-vendor market work.

Devon holds a diploma in Peace and Justice Studies and he is passionate about social justice, books, politics, dogs, and his family.

When he is not busy ensuring the smooth operation of the theatres and helping keep cinema alive, Devon loves embarking on road trips; he likes to keep a loose itinerary to allow for plenty of stopping and exploring along the way.

Devon appreciates that Nelson is small enough that it’s easy to get to know lots of the different people that make the community so rich.
