These are places where we can learn more about the many layers of our communities. Many, like Nelson Museum, Archives & Gallery even offer free events!
7. Take an arts class
Whether it’s dance, writing, music, theatre, or visual arts, local educators have so much to offer. Check out artist-run centres like Oxygen Arts Centre as a starting point.

Concerts, festivals, movies, and performances bring us together. Let us know your favourites in the comments!
9. And most of all… make more art!
Creativity helps us process, connect, and find meaning in uncertain times. We need local, regional, provincial, and national stories at the forefront right now.
