We aim to make Artwalk an inclusive and accessible community tradition that everyone can take part in.
Washrooms
Accessible public washrooms are marked on the Artwalk brochure map. They can be found at the Visitor Centre at 91 Baker Street, at City Hall at 310 Ward Street, at the NDCC at 305 Hall Street, and at the corner of Baker and Hall Street next to Pharmasave (685 Baker Street).
Parking
Artwalk takes place in Nelson’s busy downtown core and parking can be a challenge, particularly on the opening nights. Dedicated, on-street accessible parking spaces can be found on each block of Baker Street. These spaces are reserved for holders of a valid accessible parking decal. More parking for individuals with and without accessible parking decals can be found at the Visitor Centre at 91 Baker Street.
Transportation
All transit routes in the area stop at Ward Street and Baker Street, which is central to the Artwalk route. More information about transit routes and fares can be found at https://www.bctransit.com/west-kootenay/schedules-and-maps/riders-guide/
