Originally hailing from Edmonton, Alberta, we are a Vancouver-based female artistic duo that has created monumental street art together for over a decade. We first met in 2007 while studying Fine Art at Grant MacEwan University, where our dedication to artistic practice forged an inseparable friendship. After two years of travelling abroad, we then studied at Concordia University’s Fine Art program in Montreal, where we graduated in 2016 with Great Distinction after completing an international exchange at the L’École d’Enseignement Supérieur d’Art de Bordeaux in France.
Working exclusively as a synchronized duo, we have produced nearly 100 murals all across Canada and internationally in Iceland, Honduras, France, and Northern Uganda where we volunteered with an orphanage and an artistic centre for the reintegration of former child soldiers. We specialize in mammoth high-chroma realism that celebrates urban diversity, marginalized communities, and biodiversity through technical representation. Our ambition is to use public art as a platform for environmental responsibility and the promotion of social well-being to creatively promote justice and open a conversation around challenging urban and environmental issues.
