Priscilla Yu is a multidisciplinary artist based in the unceded territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations, also known as Vancouver, BC.
Known for her characteristically vibrant imagery, her work is inspired by patterns in nature and architecture. Through abstracted points of perspective and a geometric visual language, she creates colourful and textured worlds.
Since graduating from Emily Carr University (2013, BFA), she has exhibited work in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Seattle, and has participated in mural festivals including the Vancouver Mural Festival (Vancouver, BC), Wide Open Walls (Sacramento, CA), D.C. Walls (Washington, DC), HK Walls (Hong Kong), and Wall-to-Wall (Winnipeg, MB). Her client partnerships have included Instagram, Facebook, 3M Scotch Tape, Lululemon, Amazon, WeWork, and others.
